COUNCIL MEETING <br />JUNE 2119 1988 <br />A Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City of Colton was held on <br />the above given date at 7:30 p. m., in the Council. Chambers of City Hall, <br />Mayor Gonzales presiding. <br />Mayor Gonzales led the group in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />Invocation was given by Rev. Rod Pryor, Healing Waters Church. <br />RnT.T. rAT.T. <br />Council Members present were Rios, Rehrer, Garcia, and Mayor Gonzales. <br />Also present were City Manager Benest, City Attorney Edwards, and City <br />Clerk Ramos. Absent was Councilwoman Cisneros due to illness. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Garcia, seconded by Councilman Rios, excusing <br />Councilwoman Cisneros from the Council Meeting due to illness. Vote <br />was unanimous. <br />Computer Program <br />City Manager Benest stated that Item No. 27 on the Agenda, Computer <br />Program Report, will be withdrawn and considered after the Fiscal <br />Year Budget Meetings. <br />CONSENT CALENDAR: <br />(1) Minutes <br />June 7, 1988 <br />(2) Warrants <br />69188 - 69521 <br />139852 - 1399752 139976 - 140116 <br />(June 16, 1988) <br />(3) Parks <br />Request from the Chamber of Commerce for use of Fleming Park, <br />Saturday, July 30, 1988, for Little Miss Colton Pageant. <br />(4) Police/Grants <br />RESOLUTION NO. R-43-88, supporting the suppression of Drug <br />Abuse in Schools entitled "Police and Schools Turning Drug <br />Use Elsewhere" Program. <br />(5) Agreements <br />Approval of Agreement between the City of Colton and the County <br />of San Bernardino for the Human Services Department to operate <br />�^ a Summer Youth Employment and Training Program.
