at $500,000.00. <br />Motion by Councilman Lofy, seconded by Councilman Rehrer, to approve <br />Resolution No. R-121-91, to hire Leslie Keane Stratton as a consultant <br />for the period specified and for the designated salary and to approve <br />Resolution No. R-122-91, to hire Mark E. Lewis as the City Manager of <br />Colton, with the designated salary, effective December 23, 1991 and <br />upon posting of bond in the amount of $600,000.00. Motion carried. <br />Unanimous vote. <br />Mayor Gonzales indicated that the selection of Mr. Mark E. Lewis was <br />by unanimous agreement of the City Council. While Councilwoman <br />Cisneros is absent, she was also part of the selection process and <br />was aware of today's proceedings. <br />ADJOURNMENT: <br />Moved by Councilman Lofy, seconded by Councilman Roman and unanimously <br />passed, Mayor Gonzales adjourned the Meeting at 4:35 p. m. <br />Mayor Frank Gonzales introduced City Manager Mark E. Lewis, who <br />briefly addressed the assembly. <br />Mayor Gonzales expressed appreciation to Mrs. Leslie Keane Stratton, <br />who first worked as Assistant City Manager and was asked to return <br />to the City of Colton as Interim City Manager where she expertly and <br />m_ with great knowledge assisted the City through many crises in the <br />budget.
