Unanimous vote. <br />CORRESPONDENCE: <br />Dr. Herbert Fischer, Colton High School Superintendent expressed his appreciation for the <br />City Staff for their continued cooperation and assistance. Dr. Fischer stated School Staff <br />and City Staff meet on a quarterly basis to plan and to anticipate issues. <br />Dr. Fischer introduced members of the School Board, School Principals and Administrative <br />Staff who were present. Dr. Fischer stated he has met with 25 organization, including the <br />City of Colton over the past year to relay the plan they have for the students. Tonight he <br />would like to provide an update on their five priority areas and he touched briefly on each <br />of the following; 1. Student Performance, 2, Student Safety. 3. Facilities. 4. planning, <br />5. Budgeting, as well as, Personnel Development. Dr, Fischer concluded by saying the <br />school system has .survived a four million dollar reduction in services. Cuts have already <br />been made and the instructional program is intact and lay-offs have been avoided. <br />0 <br />
