M., in the Council Chambers of <br />Ad ourned Regular <br />held on the above <br />City Hall, Mayor <br />Councilmembers present were Bennett, Rios, Cisneros, Beltran,, Cook and <br />Mayor Gonzales. Also present were City Attorney Biggs, City Manager <br />Young and City Clerk Ramos. Absent was Councilmember Sandoval. <br />X LE <br />Colton Recreation Center <br />City Manager Young reported in order for the city to obtain the $1.50..000 <br />seed money needed for the Youth Center through CDBG funds, action by the <br />City Council in the form of a reso1u ion is needed. City Manager Young <br />said the County has informed. the City that there i $323,000 in the CDBG <br />cont;i-ngency reserve, the $150,,000 would be deducted from this balance. <br />City Manager Young asked City Attorney Biggs to summarize the <br />Attorney Biggs summarized the resolution as authorizing the allocation <br />f the money for the purposes of paying certain architecturali planning <br />and engineering coats associated with the construction of the project. <br />The expenditure of the CDBG funds will only occur upon the submission. to <br />the City of appropriate documentation evidencing contractual obligations <br />which have been or will be entered into obligating the expenditure of <br />funds .in accord with all applicable state and federal law and. <br />regulations. <br />Moved by Councilmember Cook, seconded by Councilmember Beltran, to adopt <br />RESOLUTION NO. R-121-93.
