1, All Commissions would remain. <br />2. All Commissions would be expanded to Seven (7) Members. <br />3. The Mayor and each Councilmember will recommend one individual <br />fron their district for appointment to each. Commission. The <br />Mayor's recommendation will be at large. Councilmxembers may <br />recommend an individual outside of their district.. The City <br />Council will aper ove. all. appointments. <br />4. Appointment terns will coincide with appointing <br />Councilmember°s term of office. <br />5. There will be no term limits. <br />6. All Commission seats will be declared vacant upon adoption of <br />a neer ordinance. <br />7. All Commissioners will be paid twenty five dollars ($25.00) <br />per meeting. <br />8. The Employee Nepotism Polio will. be applicable to all <br />Commissions. <br />9. Commissioners will be limited to serving on one Commission.. <br />10. Include more descriptive language outlining powers and duties <br />of each Commission, <br />ORAL CflMMUNCAT I ON S <br />Mr. Donald Sanders, 1445 No. Teresa, said at the December 15, 1993 <br />Council Meeting he distributed a written proposal with regard to <br />formation of a Community Facilities Districts Ad Hoc Cort:t�ittee and <br />it was not addressed tonig.1-1t. Mr. Sanders stated he certainly is <br />of the opinion that the request was worthy as the CFDs have some <br />very unique problems. <br />Councilmembers and City :tanager ewwis informed Mr. Sanders that <br />staff will be studying the proposal and will be bringing a report <br />and recommendation back to the City Council. <br />Mr. Brett Buffington, Cemetery Commissioner, said he became <br />involved in serving the because of concern and caring.
