Retirement System and approve and adopt RESOLUTION NO. R-7400, a resolution of intention to <br />r approve an amendment to contract between the Board of Administration California Public Employees <br />Retirement System and the City Council. Motion carried with CM Sanders voting "No" and CM <br />Chastain absent. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT: <br />The following citizens addressed community concerns: Stan Stosel, IBEW Representative; <br />William Yahn; Gil Navarro; and, Jesus Segovia. <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL ITEMS: Comments, Inter -Governmental Agency reports, <br />Information Session and Action Items: <br />COMMENTS: <br />District 2 CM DeLaRosa addressed the following matters: Police monitor at McKinley School; <br />representative on JPA(Water Board); and, street problems. <br />District i - CM Sanders addressed the following matters: Street problems; Slover Road cleanup; <br />and, change order process. <br />District 4 - CM Cook addressed the following matters: Water fountain in South Colton; School <br />tour; skateboarding at Fleming Park; maintenance of Veterans Park; and, Make a Difference Day. <br />District 6 - CM Grimsby addressed the following matters: Street problems; weed abatement; <br />and, low income allowance. <br />District 5 - Mayor Pro Tempore Bennett addressed the following matters: Proposed signal lights <br />in Reche Canyon and Rich Daur Park amenities Parks, Recreation and Family Services Director <br />Kenny responded. <br />BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS <br />Commission Appointment <br />No appointments made. <br />Parks and Recreation Commission <br />Michael Berg, Chairperson for the Parks <br />organization's achievements for the past year. <br />INFORMATIONAL ITEM: <br />and Recreation Commission, presented the <br />Storm Drain System Update. <br />Assistant City Manager Parrish indicated there was a tentative agreement, with the Fish and <br />Wildlife service, for the mitigation of the Delhi fly and funding efforts. He reported on Randall <br />City Council Mins Oct. 3, 2000 2 <br />
