Flores, Deputy City Clerk <br />POSSIBLE CONFLICT OF INTEREST ISSUES FOR THE COUNCIL MEETING OF <br />OCTOBER 21, 2003. <br />Mayor Bennett asked the members present if there were any agenda items that were a <br />conflict of interest pursuant to CMC Section 2.04.030. None disclosed. <br />CEREMONIAL MATTERS: <br />Presentations, Awards, Proclamations <br />With the consensus of the Council, Mayor Bennett announced an additional presentation <br />by Councilmember Dennis R. Yates, City of Chino. <br />• Presentation - Dennis R. Yates, Councilmember City of Chino, provided the <br />members with a brief bio on himself, and requested support and <br />consideration as candidate for AQMD Board member. <br />• Presentation - Virginia Gautier, Victims Advocate for Mother's Against Drunk <br />Drivers (MADD) provided a brief PowerPoint presentation of her <br />organization. <br />• Recognition- Colton Police Chief Rulon recognized Department Officer of the <br />Year Jose Mendoza <br />• Proclamation- CM Chastain read the "Make A Difference Day", and presented <br />to Community Services Director Ron Kenny. <br />• Proclamation - CM Zamora read the "Red Ribbon Week, Oct. 23rd — Oct. 31, <br />2003" proclamation and presented to Police Chief Rulon. <br />2003 OCT 22 REG CC/RDA/CUA MEETING - 2 - <br />
