CEREMONIAL MATTERS: <br />Presentations, Awards, Proclamations <br />Presentation Community Service Recognition (Presenters: Bob Lewis, Public <br />Services Crew Leader & Police Corporal Ernie Mireles) <br />MOVED TO AUGUST 3, 2004 <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS: <br />LLMD Dist 1 <br />This was the time and place fixed to consider ordering the levy and collection of assessments <br />for the Landscape and Lighting Maintenance Assessment District No. 1 for Fiscal year 2004/05. <br />Mayor Bennett declared the Public Hearing "Open". <br />City Clerk Barrera said the Affidavit of Publication was on file in the City Clerk's Office and <br />stated that no protests or objections were received. <br />City Engineer Jakher presented an overview of agenda report and presented staffs <br />recommendation to approve and adopt Resolution No. R-69-04 amending and/or approving the <br />annual engineer's report for the Colton Landscape and Lighting Maintenance Assessment <br />District No. 1, and Resolution No. R-70-04 ordering the levy and collection of assessments for <br />the Colton Landscape and Lighting Maintenance Assessment District No. 1, FY 2004/2005. <br />Motion/second by CM Hernandez/Ramos to terminate Public Hearing. Unanimous vote. <br />Motion/second by CM De La Rosa/Ramos to approve and adopt RESOLUTION NO. R- 69- 04 <br />and R-70-04.
