CITY OF COLTON <br />CLOSED SESSION - COUNCIUREDEVELOPMENT AGENCY/COLTON UTILITY AUTHORITY <br />OCTOBER 19, 2004 <br />In accordance with notice duly and legally given, a Regular Meeting was held on the above <br />given date at 5:05 p.m., in the Council Chambers of City Hall, with CM Chastain presiding. <br />CITY COUNCIL ROLL CALL <br />Councilmembers present were, Zamora, Ramos, Chastain, Hernandez, De La Rosa and Mayor <br />Bennett. CM Hernandez absent. <br />City Attorney Derleth announced that the City Council would meet in Closed Session to discuss <br />the following items: <br />CLOSED SESSION: <br />A. CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL - EXISTING LITIGATION <br />Pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(a) <br />Name of Case: City of Banning et. al. v. James Jones Company et. al. <br />Case Number: Los Angeles Superior Court Case No. BC321513 <br />B. CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL - ANTICIPATED LITIGATION <br />Pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(c) <br />Number of Potential Cases: 1 <br />C. CONFERENCE WITH LABOR NEGOTIATORS <br />Pursuant to Government Code Section 54957.6 <br />Unrepresented Employee: Police Chief <br />Agency Representatives: City Manager and City Attorney <br />City Attorney Derleth adjourned the meeting to Closed Session and at 6:03 p.m.; the meeting <br />reconvened with all members present as heretofore. <br />City Attorney Derleth reported that the Council did meet in Regular Closed Session and <br />discussed Items A thru D with reportable action on Item A. <br />A.
