Mayor Bennett asked the members present if there were any agenda items that were a conflict <br />of interest pursuant to CMC Section 2.04.030. None disclosed. <br />CEREMONIAL MATTERS: <br />Presentations, Awards, Proclamations <br />• Presentation Bob Chrisman, Loma Linda Councilmember/ Treasurer of SBIAA <br />presented to Mayor and Council, a partial reimbursement check totaling <br />$433,400.00 and stated that there is an estimated balance of $200,000 to <br />$300,000 based on accrued interest to be paid within a year. <br />• Proclamation CM Hernandez read a proclamation for Alcohol and Drug Recovery <br />Month — September 2004 to be forwarded to the U. S. Department of <br />Health and Human Services. <br />• Proclamation CM Zamora read a proclamation for National Prostate Cancer Awareness <br />Month to be forwarded to the U.S. Conference of Mayors Health <br />Programs, Washington, D.C. <br />• Presentation Mayor Bennett recognized and presented checks to "Volunteens" for their <br />Community Services. <br />• Presentation Carlos Palomino and Freddy acknowledged the support of the Mayor and <br />Council to Colton PAL's Boxing Club and presented them with T -Shirts. <br />• Proclamation Mayor Bennett read Remembrance Day, September 11, 2001, to be <br />displayed in Council Offices, and ordered City Flags to be flown half mast <br />starting at 8:45 a.m. continuing for 24 hours. <br />RFCFSS- <br />At 6:35 p.m. Mayor Bennett announced a recess and at 6:52 p.m. the meeting was <br />reconvened with all members present heretofore. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br />The following citizen addressed the Council: Salley Barela <br />UNFINISHED BUSINESS: <br />Power Sales Agreement City of San Bernardino <br />Approve a Power Sales Agreement with the City of San Bernardino for a Capacity and Energy <br />Entitlement from the Agua Mansa Power Plant. [Item #3, 813104 agenda] <br />Public Utilities Manager Olko presented for Council consideration and requested approval of <br />staff's recommendation. <br />Discussion from Council with questions regarding adjustable pricing, base price, revenue loss to <br />general fund, effects from gas changes, financial impact, operating and maintenance expense, <br />an length of contract. <br />2004 JULY 01 REG CC/RDA/CUA MEETING - 3 - <br />
