Community Services Manager Smith presented for Council consideration and approval of staff's <br />recommendation that Council approves Resolution No. R-69-05 amending the fee schedule <br />outlined in Attachment B, for childcare services in the Childcare division of the Community <br />Services Department, effective August 1, 2005 to allow for proper notification of customers in <br />the childcare program. <br />Motion/second by CM De La Rosa/Suchil to close public hearing. Motion carried with CM <br />Hernandez absent. <br />Motion/second by CM Ramos/De La Rosa to approve and adopt Resolution No. R-54-05 to <br />establish a redemption fee for the recovery of costs for retrieval and storage of abandoned <br />shopping carts and laundry carts. Motion carried with CM Hernandez absent. <br />$5 Million Loan <br />This was the time and place fixed to consider the question of whether the city should approve <br />the issuance by the Colton Public Financing Authority of its 2005 taxable lease revenue note in <br />the principal amount of not to exceed $5,000,000 pursuant to the provisions of the Article 4 <br />(commencing with Section 6584) of Chapter 5 of Division 7 of Title 1 of the Government Code of <br />the State of California. The proceeds of the bonds, if any are issued, will be allocated for the <br />purpose of improving certain property of the city for use in connection with a recreational facility. <br />The Mayor declares the Public Hearing "Open". <br />City Clerk Barrera announced that the Notice of Continuance of the Public Hearing is on file in <br />the City Clerk's office and no protests or objections have been received. <br />2005 JUNE 21 REG CC/RDA/CUA MEETING -3- <br />
