Barrera, City Clerk <br />POSSIBLE CONFLICT OF INTEREST DISCLOSURES FOR THE COUNCIL MEETING OF <br />JANUARY 17, 2006. <br />Mayor Bennett asked the members present if there were any agenda items that were a conflict <br />of interest pursuant to CMC Section 2.04.030. None disclosed. <br />CEREMONIAL MATTERS: <br />Presentations, Awards, Proclamations <br />• Presentation Judy Clarke, RDA Project Manager II, who introduced the City of Colton <br />business spotlight recipient La Villa Restaurant located in District 4. <br />Mayor Bennett presented a certificate of appreciation to Maria Serrano, <br />Owner, for her contribution for enhancing the economy of the City of <br />Colton. <br />• Presentation Richard Kikuchi, Auditor from Lance, Soll & Lunghard for fiscal year <br />ending June 30, 2005, presented a Certificate of Achievement for <br />Excellence in Financial Reporting for Fiscal Year ended June 30, 2004., <br />to Finance Director Dilu DeAlwis. <br />Finance Director DeAlwis presented the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report for Fiscal <br />Year ending June 30, 2005. <br />Motion/second by CM Ramos/Chastain with no opposition by the Councilmembers present <br />to receive and file the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report for Fiscal Year ending June <br />30, 2005. <br />• Presentation Wynn Holmes, announced an open invitation to the Council and the <br />community for the Grand Opening of Crystal Ridge Development on <br />February 12, 2006, between the hours of 2 to 6 p.m. <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS: <br />Babcock & Brown Storage Specialists <br />This was the time and place fixed to consider the continued public hearing from November 15, <br />2005 regarding an ordinance of the City Council of the City of Colton amending the West Valley <br />Specific Plan to allow mini -warehouses in the west subarea of the specific plan and adoption of <br />a mitigated negative declaration and mitigation, monitoring, and reporting program for File Index <br />2006 JANUARY 17 REG CC/RDA/CUA MEETING - 2 - <br />
