Vacant: <br />District 3 <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL ITEMS: <br />POSSIBLE CONFLICT OF INTEREST DISCLOSURES FOR THE COUNCIL MEETING OF <br />FEBRUARY 6, 2007. <br />Mayor Chastain asked the members present if there were any agenda items that were a conflict <br />of interest pursuant to CMC Section 2.04.030. *None disclosed. <br />CEREMONIAL MATTERS: <br />Presentations, Awards, Proclamations <br />• Presentation Judith Clarke, RDA Administrative Analyst, who introduced the City of <br />Colton business spotlight recipient Rancho Ready Mix, located in District <br />4. Mayor Chastain presented a certificate of appreciation to Bill <br />Summers, Founder and Patrick Dempsey, General Manager, for their <br />contribution for enhancing the economy of the City of Colton. <br />• Proclamation CM Oliva read a proclamation in honor of National Child Passenger <br />Safety Week and forwarded certificate to Tom Hernandez San <br />Bernardino County Health Department. <br />UNFINISHED BUSINESS: <br />Memorandum of Understanding - Approve Memorandum of Understanding on Improvement of <br />Transportation Facilities between SANBAG, RCTC, the County of Riverside, the County of San <br />Bernardino, and the Cities of Colton, Grand Terrace, Loma Linda, Moreno Valley, Redlands, <br />Riverside and San Bernardino. [Item #15, 1/15/07 agenda] <br />City Engineer Jakher presented for Council consideration and approval of staffs <br />recommendation, he further explained that the agreement has been distributed and the item <br />was previously continued as clarification had to be addressed as it related to Center Street and <br />Pigeon Pass. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT: <br />J. S. Smith — wants clarification as to the area, requests a map/plan as no information was <br />received by any of the property owners. <br />CM Mitchell and Mayor Chastain explained that the MOU was only to determine who will be the <br />lead city for the project and an opportunity would be given for the property owners to provide <br />input. <br />City Manager Parrish referred the public to access the city website and pull up the agenda <br />report. <br />Motion/second by CM Mitchell/Suchil to approve staffs recommendation.
