All marks, except the cross <br />are forbidden. All distinguishing marks or <br />erasures are forbidden and make the ballot void. <br />If you wrongly stamp., tear or deface this ballot <br />return it to the inspector of election and obtain <br />another. <br />On absent voter ballots mark a cross with <br />pen or pencil. <br />BOND PROPOSITION: Shall the <br />City of Colton incur a bonded <br />indebtedness in the principal YES <br />sur' -1 of $250,000 to pay a portion <br />of the cost of the acquisition <br />and construction by said city <br />of a certain municipal improve- <br />ment, to wit: a street improve- <br />ment in the city consisting of <br />an underpass on "N" Street under <br />the Atchison, Topeka 8-, Santa Fe <br />Railway Company main -line tracks <br />and siding, with appurtenances NO <br />and appurtenant work, and includ- <br />ing the acquisition of land, <br />easements, rights of way, ap- <br />paratus., equipment and other <br />property necessary therefor? <br />Section 5. A cross (+) placed in the voting square <br />after the word "YES" in the manner hereinbefore provided shall <br />be counted in favor of the adoption of the question or pro -posi- <br />tion. A cross placed in the voting square af'-L-..er the word <br />"NO" in the manner hereinbefore provided shall be counted against <br />the adoption of the question or proposition. <br />4. <br />
