E THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES ORDAIN AS I l FOLLOWS: } Section 1, That all assessments hereinafter made in the City of Colton ! a for taxes for municipal purpose shall be made by the County Assessor of the 1 County of San Bernardino, State of California and that such taxes or assess- ments ssess-menu Tax Collector of the County of San so made shall be collected by the � Bernardino, State of California. i Section 2. This Ordinance is for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety and shall take effect immediately upon its adoption and publication. I The facts constituting the urgency thereof are as follows i This Ordinance is adopted pursuant to the general laws of the State o California for levying municipal taxes to provide for the maintenance of the various governmental functions of the City of Colton, including police protec- tion, rotec-tion, fire protection, health regulations and other functions which preserve I the public health and safety in the City of Colton. i Section 3.
