That a new section be added to Ordinance No. 412 to be i.umbered Section 23A. Section 23A. Dog Kennels„ For every person, firm or corporation engaged in the business of operating a commercial kennel as herein defined shall obtain a license from the :ity Clerk of the City of Colton and shall pay an annual fee as follows: For a kennel having the following number of dogs, the fee designated: 5 to 10 dogs $10.00 11 to 20 dogs 15.00 21 to 30 dogs 25.00 The fee shall be further increased $10.00 for each increment of ten or fractional part of ten dogs over 30 dogs. A "commercial kennel" is hereby defined as a place where five or more dogs are kept for the purpose of boarding, breeding, training or marketing. All dogs, owned by a commercial kennel shall be subject to the provisions of this Ordinance upon attaining the age of six months. Section 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this Ordinancf and shall cause the same to be published once in the Colton Courier, a news- paper ews-paper of general circulation in the City of Colton.
