SECTION 21. SEVERABILITY. If any section, subsection, subdivision, sentence, <br />clause or phrase of this ordinance is for any reason held to be unconstitutional, such <br />decision shall not affect the valiuity of the remaining portions of this ordinance. The <br />Council hereby declares that it would have passed this ordinance, and each section, <br />subsection, subdivision, :sentence, clause and phrase thereof, irrespective of the fact <br />that any one or more sections, subsections, subdivisions, sentences, clauses or <br />phrases be declarec, unconstitutional. <br />SECTION 22. REPEAL. All ordinances and/or all amendments to ordinances <br />in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. <br />SECTION 23. EFFECTIVE DATE. PUBLICATION. This ordinance shall take <br />effect thirty days after the Sate of its adoption and prior to the expiration of fifteen <br />days frorn the passage thereof shall be publisheJ at least once in the Colton Courier, <br />a weekly newspaper of general circulation, published anu circulated in the City of <br />Colton, and thenceforth an -2 thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect. <br />.ADOPTED YiND APPROVED this 6th uay ;;f February, 1962. <br />ME.
