This Ordinance is for the immediate preservation of the <br />l3 public peace, health and safety and shall take effect immediate) on its <br />� Y upon <br />141 adoption and publication, <br />, <br />The facts constituting the urgency thereof are as follows: <br />16 This Ordinance is adopted pursuant to the general laws of the State of <br />! <br />17i iCalifornia for levying municipal taxes to provide for the maintenance of the <br />181 various governmental functions of the City of Colton, including police protec- <br />19 tion, fire protection, health regulations and other functions which preserve the <br />20 public health and safety in the City of Colton„ <br />21 SECTION 3.
