That Article IX, Section 9. 1 or the, Uniform Traffic <br />Ordinance be amended to react as follows: <br />SECTION 9. 1. Stopping or Standing in Parkways Prohibited. <br />No person shall stop, stand, or park a vehicle within any parkway, <br />provided, however at the locations- hereinafter described 60 degree diagonal <br />parking shall be allowed between the street side of the sidewalk and the gutter <br />line s: <br />I,, Along the West side of 7th Street from the curb return to a. dis- <br />tance 80 feet north of the center line of IM" Street. <br />2. Along the north side of I'M" Street from the curb return to a dis- <br />tance of 120 feet East of the centerline or 8th Street. <br />SECTI ON 2. That Article X, Section 10 of the Uniform Traffic <br />ARTICLE X. Stopping, Standing or Parking Restricted or Prohibited <br />on Certain Streets, <br />Section 10. Twenty four minute parking. <br />Green curb.marking shall mean no standing or parking for a period <br />of time longer- than 2.4 minutes at any time. When authorized signs, parking <br />meters or curb markings have been determined by the City Engineer to: be <br />necessary and are in place giving notice thereof, no operator of any vehicle <br />shall stop, stand or park said vehicle, adjacent to any such legible curb marking <br />or sign or parking meter in violation thereof, <br />SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the pas sage and <br />adoption<xr this Ordinance and, cause the same to be published in the Colton <br />Courier a newspaper of general circulation within the City of Colton. <br />
