For the purpose of providing regulations relating to <br />public health and safety, the issuance of permits and the collection of' fees <br />and providing penalties for the violation -of such regulations, there is hereby <br />adopted by the City of Colton that certain code known as the Health. and Safety <br />Code of the County or San Bernardino, State of California (1962) and the whole <br />thereof as amended save and except such portions as are hereinafter deleted, <br />modified or amended by Sections Zi:and 4 hereof, Not less than three (3) <br />copies of said code have been filed and are now on file in the office of the City <br />Clerk of Colton. and the same are hereby adopted and incorporated as fully as <br />if set out at length herein,* <br />SECTION 2. Definition of Terms: The following terms, words or <br />p.lir,as-e-swhenever, use:d-,trk said code shall be construed as follows, unless the <br />content makes such construction repugnant thereto: <br />A. Whenever the term "County" or "County or San Bernardino" is <br />named or referred to., the term "City" or "City of Colton" shall be submitted <br />therefore except that all permits shall be obtained from the San Bernardino <br />Department of Public Health and all fees and costs shall be paid to San <br />Bernardino County Department o.of--'-PuhLi(�-:.,EleoLlt)i. <br />SECTION 3., Exceptions to Adopted Code: The Health and Safety Code <br />is amended and changed or deleted in the following respects: <br />DIVISION 16 HEALTH -CHAPTER I - GENERAL PROVISIONSO <br />A. Duties of Health Officer. (Section if , The phrase "outside <br />of incorporated cities It is deleted, <br />B.. Domestic Water Supply.(Section 10) The second paragraph <br />is deleted, <br />DIVISION L CHAPTER 11 -PERMITS <br />Ca Annual Expiration of Permits (Section 106-)� *The last clause <br />is amended to read: "but all permits granted hereunder <br />shall expire on the 30th day of June of the year in which <br />the same became effective. rs <br />
