1 ORDINANCE NO. 1249 <br />2 �� AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />311 OF COLTON, PROVIDING FOR THE LEVYAND <br />!COLLECTION OF TAXES FOR MUNICIPAL USES TO BE <br />4 i� LEVIED AND COLLECTED BY THE COUNTY OF BAN <br />BERNARDINO . <br />5 <br />6 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />7 SECTION 1. That all assessments hereinafter made in the City of Colton <br />8 for taxes for municipal purpose shall be made by the County Assessor of the <br />9 County of San Bernardino, State of California and that such taxes or assessments <br />10� so made shall be collected by the Tax. Collector of the County of San Bernardino <br />11 State of California. <br />12 <br />13 SECTION 2. This Ordinance is for the immediate preservation of the public <br />14 peace, health and safety and shall take effect immediately upon its adoption and <br />publication. <br />15 <br />16 The facts constituting the urgency thereof :area's follows: <br />-17 This Ordinance is adopted pursuant to the general laws of the State of <br />18 Calif ornia for 'levying municipal taxes to provide for the maintenance of the <br />19 various governmental functions of the City of Colton, including police protection, <br />20 fire protection, health regulations and other functions which <br />' preserve the public <br />21 <br />22 health and safety in the City of ,Colton . <br />23 SECTION 3.
