That the "Uniform_ Housing Code, 19.64 Edition, and, <br />Appendices thereto, published, and copyrighted by the International Conference <br />of Building Officials", three copies of which are on file in the office of the <br />City Clerk of the City of Colton for public use and certified by the certificate <br />of the City Clerk, of the City of Colton attached thereto, reading as follows: <br />"I� ELIZABETH DAVIS, City Clerk of the. City of Colton <br />do hereby certify that the Uniform. Housing Code, 1964 <br />Edition and appendices, is the Uniform Housing Code <br />referred to in Ordinance No. 1257 of the 'City of Colton,'9 <br />be and the same is hereby adopted as the Housing Code of the City of Colton <br />for the purpose of ,providing minimum requirements for the protection of life <br />limb, health, safety and welfare of the general public and the owners and <br />occupants of residential buildings and structures of any type whatsoever and <br />each of the provisions in reference to the issuance of permits collection of <br />fees' and every other provision, regulation, penalty, condition and term of said <br />Housing Code herein before referred to and adopted herein and made a part <br />hereof as if fully set forth herein, except for amendments thereto, to -wit: <br />Section 2. That Section H-505 (b) of the "Uniform Housing Code, 1964 <br />Edition", is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />Section H-505 (b. Hotels. Each guest room shall be provided with a <br />water closet, lavatory and bath tub or shower. <br />Section 3. That all Ordinances, or parts of Ordinances in conflict with <br />the terms and provisions hereof and particularly Ordinance No. 1039 are <br />
