e <br />11 thousand (1,000) persons residing within this City, be devoted to <br />i <br />i park and recreational purposes. <br />(b) That said requirement will be satisfied in part by co - <br />4 � <br />operative arrangements between the City and the local school <br />51 <br />Idistricts to make available one and one-half (11-2) acres of property <br />61 <br />7 for each one thousand (1,000) persons residing within the City for <br />i <br />8,�park and recreation purposes; <br />9 .' (c) That the remainder of the required four (4) acres shall <br />10 be supplied by the requirements of this ordinance and the recreatior <br />11 <br />program of the City. <br />12 <br />SECTION. POPULATION DENSITY. Population density for the <br />13 <br />14 <br />purpose of this ordinance shall be determined in accordance with <br />I�the 1960 Census of Population on Housings Final Report PEC (l)-82 <br />16 Los Angeles, Long Beach SMSA, to wit. <br />17 (a) Single family dwelling units, and duplexes = 3.1 <br />18personsper dwelling unit; and <br />191 (b) Multiple family dwelling units = 2.1 persons per <br />20 <br />dwelling unit. <br />21 <br />IThe basis for determining the total number of dwelling units shall <br />22 <br />23 �be the number of such units permitted by the city on the property <br />24�4ncluded in the subdivision at the time the final subdivision tract <br />25mapis filed with the City Council for approval. <br />26 SECTION 6. AMOUNT OF LAND TO BE DEDICATED. The amount of <br />27lland required to be dedicated by a subdivider pursuant to this <br />28 <br />lordinance, shall be based on the gross area included in the sub <br />29 <br />
