A surface longitudinally centered on <br />extended center line of a runway, beginning at, and the width of, <br />he primary 'zone and extending outward and upward therefrom. <br />(3) Transition Zone. A surface which extends outward and <br />ard, at right` -angles -to the runway center line, from the edges of <br />e.'primary'and approach zones until ' -such transition zone intersects <br />horizontal or conical zones. Transition zones for:ILS approach <br />ones shall -be extended through and beyond the conical zone. <br />(4), Vertical Zone. Applicable only to VFR Airport <br />tandards, and which extends''upward from the edges of the primary <br />approach zones until such Vertical Zone intersects with the <br />)rzontal Zone." <: <br />
