1 2 3 4 5 ORDINANCE NO. 1324 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY DESIGNATED 1°SOUTH COLTON ANNEXATION NO. 21" TO THE CITY OF COLTON. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON: 'I WHEREAS, on the 2nd day of April, 1968, the Council 7i of the City of Colton did pass and adopt Resolution No. 2868 8I giving notice of the proposal to annex certain uninhabited ter - 91 1.0 11� 12 13 14 :1.5 16 17 18 a. r� 0 V 21 22 2.3 24 !I 25 �I ,I 26 27 I' 28 29 30 31 32 ritory to the City of Colton, said territory being therein designated as "South Colton Annexation No. 21" said resolution describing the boundaries of the territory proposed to be annex- ed; and WHEREAS, said Resolution No. 2868 did contain a notice of the day, hour and place when and where the Council of the City would hear protests made by any person owning real property with- in the territory proposed to be annexed, the time of said hearing being not less than forty nor more than sixty days from the date of passage of said Resolution; and WHEREAS, on the 21st day of May, 1968, at the hour of 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers in the Civic Center located at 650 North Eighth Street in the City of Colton, County of San Bernardino, State of California, said time and place being the day, hour and place fixed in said Resolution No. 2868 for hear- ing protests to the said annexation, the said City Council did hear and pass upon all protests made to the proposed annexation and did determine that protests had not been made by the owners of one-half of the value of the privately owned territory pro- posed to be annexed as shown by the last equalized assessment
