Section 208: BLOCKS. <br />1. Blocks less than three hundred _thirty . (330) feet in <br />_I <br />a length, or more than nine hundred ninety (990) feet in length, <br />may be cause for disapproval, but in no case shall a block be <br />ii <br />5 <br />it longer than thirteen hundred twenty (1320) feet. <br />6 ` <br />i' <br />i <br />2. In blocks nine hundred ninety (990) feet long or over, <br />i` <br />pedestrian ways at least ten (10) feet wide may be required. <br />i� <br />9 3. Long blocks may be required adjacent to .major thorough- <br />; <br />10� fares whenever the City deems it advisable in order to reduce the <br />11 (i <br />number of intersections. <br />12 <br />13Section 209: EXCEPTIONS. <br />1, Conditional exceptions to the provisions herein defined <br />I <br />15 may be authorized if exceptional or special circumstances apply to <br />16 <br />the property. Such special circumstances may include: <br />17 <br />a. Condominiums, co-ops, planned unit developments, <br />18 <br />11 <br />19�Itown houses and similar type developments. <br />20 <br />�i b. Limited size, unusual shape, extreme topography, <br />21 ,including hillside developments. <br />22; C.
