If any part, <br />sentence, paragraph, section or clause is adjudged unconstitu- <br />tional or invalid, the remainder of this ordinance shall not be <br />affected thereby. The City Council of the City of Colton hereby <br />i <br />declares that it would have passed this ordinance and each part <br />i <br />thereof, regardless of the fact that one or more parts hereof j <br />be declared unconstitutional cons itutional or invalid. <br />i <br />SECTION 5. <br />Effective Date. This ordinance shall be in force and <br />effect thirty (30) days after final passage. <br />SECTION 6. <br />Publication. The City Clerk shall certify to the pass- <br />age of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published <br />once in the Colton Courier, a daily newspaper, hereby designated <br />for the purpose. <br />
