<br />at all the times herein mentioned had and still
<br />has a bona fide subscription list of paying sub-
<br />scribers, and which newspaper has been estab-
<br />lished, printed and published at regular intervals
<br />in the said City of Colton, State of California,
<br />County of San Bernardino, for a period exceeding
<br />one year next preceding the date of publication of
<br />the notice hereinafter referred to; and which news-
<br />paper is not devoted to nor published for the in-
<br />terests, entertainment or. instruction of a particular
<br />class, profession, trade, calling, race, or denomin-
<br />ation, or any number of same; that the notice, of
<br />which the annexed is a printed copy, has been
<br />published in each regular and entire issue of said
<br />newspaper and not in any supplement thereof on

<br />ORDINANCE NO. 1340
<br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF,
<br />COLTON. AMENDING OR D I
<br />NANCE NO. 964, AS AMENDED,,
<br />AND PROVIDING FOR CERTAIN'
<br />ZONE RECLASSIFICATIONS.
<br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
<br />COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COL -
<br />TON AS FOLLOWS:
<br />SECTION ONE. The City Council
<br />finds and declares:
<br />1. That a public hearing has been
<br />duly and legally held by the Planning
<br />Commission of the City of Colton on
<br />two Zone District Amendment ap-
<br />plications to amend Section 303 and
<br />304 of Ordinance 964 as amended.
<br />2. That said Planning Commission
<br />has recommended the adoption of Age
<br />proposed amendements and the
<br />zone reclassifications of certain par-
<br />cels of land in accordance with and
<br />pursuant to said applications.
<br />3. That said parcels are delineated
<br />and the recommended action appro-
<br />priately shown and for conveniencet.
<br />is reference indexed on maps num-
<br />bered as follows:
<br />(a) Map 4817-3, 5, 6, 8
<br />4818-7
<br />Index No. A-17.68
<br />R-1, R-2, R -2-X, R-3, C-1, C-2,
<br />M-1 and M-2 zones to FP -1 and
<br />FP -2, Flood Plain Zone.
<br />(b) Map 4817-11, 4826-B1
<br />Index No. A-18-68
<br />R-1 Single Family Residential
<br />zone to M-1 Light Manufactur-
<br />ing zone and M-2 Heavy...Manu-
<br />facturing zone.
<br />4. That a public hearing has been
<br />duly and legally held by the City
<br />Council on the aforesaid recom-
<br />mendations of the Planning Com-
<br />mission.
<br />SECTION TWO. The zone reclas-
<br />sifications herein above referred to
<br />are hereby approved and the Plan-
<br />ning Director is hereby directed to
<br />amend the Official Zoning Mnps of
<br />the City of Colton adopted by Ord-
<br />inance 1323 in accordance herewith
<br />to show said approval and certify
<br />to the same.
<br />SECTION THREE. Effective Date.
<br />This Ordinance shall be in force and
<br />effective thirty (30) days after final
<br />passage.
<br />SECTION FOUR. The City Clerk
<br />shall certify to the passage of this
<br />ordinance and shall cause the same
<br />to be published once in the Colton
<br />Courier, a daily newspaper, hereby
<br />designated for the purpose.
<br />PASSED, ADOPTED and AP-
<br />PROVED this 7th day of January,
<br />1969.
