That all assessments hereinafter made <br />in the City of Colton for taxes for municipal purposes shall be made by the <br />County Assessor of the County of San Bernardino, State of California. <br />SECTION TWO. This ordinance is for the immediate <br />preservation of the public peace, health and safety and shall take effect <br />immediately upon its adoption and publication. <br />The facts constituting the urgency thereof are as follows: <br />This ordinance is adopted pursuant to the general laws <br />of the State of California for levying municipal taxes to provide for the <br />maintenance of the various governmental functions which preserve the <br />public health and safety in the City of Colton. <br />SECTION THREE. That a certified copy of the ordinance <br />shall be filed with the auditor of the County of San Bernardino, State of <br />California. <br />PASSED, ADOPTED and APPROVED this 27th day <br />of Augus t , 1970. <br />ATTEST: <br />E LIZ.
