ORDINANCE NO. 1526 <br />ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA <br />PROVIDING FOR CONTRIBUTION TO APPLY AS A <br />CREDIT UPON LEVIED ASSESSMENTS IN A SPECIAL <br />ASSESSMENT DISTRICT KNOWN AND DESIGNATED AS <br />ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 77-1 (COOLEY DRIVE, <br />PHASE II) <br />WHEREAS at this time, the City of Colton is proceeding to insti= <br />tute proceedings for the formation of a special assessment district <br />for the construction of certain street improvements, together with <br />utilities and appurtenances and appurtenant work in connection <br />therewith in said City, pursuant to the provisions of the "Municipal <br />Improvement Act of 1913", being Division 12 of the Streets and High- <br />ways Code of the State of California, with said improvements to be <br />financed through b6nds to be issued pursuant to the provisions of <br />the "Improvement Act of 1911", being Division 7 of said Code; said <br />special assessment district shallbe for further extensions of <br />Cooley Drive, said special assessment district known and designated <br />as <br />ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 77-1 <br />(COOLEY DRIVE, PHASE II) <br />(hereinafter referred to as the "Assessment I District"), and for <br />further particulars, reference is hereby made to a map as pre- <br />viously approved by the City Council and on file in the office of <br />the City Clerk; and, - <br />WHEREAS, at this time, this City is desirous of making available, <br />as a contribution, certain monies received from the Redevelopment <br />Agency for the City of Colton for the project known as <br />Redevelopment Ag ency Project 14 <br />(hereinafter referred to as the "Project"), and also said monies <br />available from said Project have been made available to the City <br />by a contract between the City of Colton and the Redevelopment Agency <br />for the City of Colton. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. That the above recitals are all true and correct. <br />SECTION -2. That all monies received from the Redevelopment <br />Agency for the City of Colton, pursuant to a <br />contract between the City of Colton and the Re- <br />development Agency for the City of Colton, said <br />contract dated the 6th day Of December, 1977 <br />shall be applied as -a ­contributi8;T to �M above <br />referenced Assessment District and said monies <br />shall be used to pay for certain costs and ex- <br />penses of the proceedings or applied as a credit <br />
