1 such modification when granted or allowed and the decision of the Chief of the <br />2 i Bureau of Fire Prevention thereon shall be entered upon the records of the De - <br />3 partment and a signed copy shall be furnished the applicant. <br />4 SECTION 9. New Materials, Processes or Occupancies which may Re - <br />5 quire Permits. The City Building Inspector, the Chief of the Fire Department, <br />6 and the Chief of the Bureau of Fire Prevention shall act as a committee to de - <br />7 termine and specify, after giving affected persons an opportunityto be heard, <br />8 any new materials, processes or occupancies, which shall require permits, in ad - <br />9 dition'to those now enumerated in said Code. The Chief of the Bureau of Fire <br />10 Prevention shall post such list in a conspicuous place in .his office, and dis- <br />11 tribute copies thereof to interested persons. <br />12 SECTION 10. Outside Obstruction Prohibited. No person shall <br />13 park or place any object, material or vehicle in any established exit way, drive <br />14 way, gateway or alleyway, which would hamper the egress of building occupants or <br />15 the ingress of Fire Department apparatus in the event of fire, in or about any <br />16 church, assembly hall, lodge hall, school, hotel, apartment, theater, stadium, <br />17 structure, tent or public building. When, in'the opinion of the Chief of the <br />18 Fire Department, any exit way, driveway, gateway or alleyway is so obstructed by <br />19 any object, material or vehicle that it might delay or impede the egress or in - <br />20 gress of occupants or Fire Department apparatus respectively, then such object, <br />21 material or vehicle shall be immediately removed upon order of the Chief of the <br />22 Fire Department. When such obstruction is a vehicle, it shall be immediately <br />23 removed by the owner or it may be impounded or removed as provided by law. <br />24 SECTION 11. Penalties. <br />25 <br />(a) Any person who shall violate any of the provisions of this <br />26 Code hereby adopted or fail to comply therewith, or who shall violate or fail <br />27 to comply with any order made thereunder, or who shall build in violation of <br />28 any'detailed statement or specifications or plans submitted and approved there <br />
