ORDINANCE NO. 1542 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF COLTON RELATIVE TO ADJUSTMENT OF TAXES, <br />FEES, AND CHARGES TO THE COST OF LIVING. <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />I There is hereby added to the Colton Municipal Code Section <br />3.29.010 which is to read as follows: <br />71 The . City Manager shall adjust all existing taxes, fees, and <br />8 charges provided for in the Colton Municipal Code and by resolution of the <br />City Council annually in accordance with the increase or decrease in the cost <br />911 of living. All adjustments shall be based on the Bureau of Labor Statistics <br />110 1 <br />Consumer Price Index for all urban consumers. The said CPI on January 1, 1978 <br />it <br />12 100. No adjustment shall take effect until a report thereof by the City <br />1 <br />1 Manager is presented to the City Council and by Council order, filed with the <br />13 <br />14 City Clerk.
