No person who, as owner or business manager or real estate <br />jagent or as other responsible employee or agent, maintains an audible alarm <br />ich does not contain a means to effect an automatic turn-off of the alarm <br />thin ten (10) minutes after it is first activated, and which alarm is not <br />`;serviced on a 24-hour basis by an alarm business, shall fail, refuse or neglect <br />i <br />t <br />oto notify the Police Department of: <br />(l) His name and the telephone number at which he may be <br />reached at any time of the day or night, and <br />(2) The name and telephone number of an alternate responsible <br />person who may be reached to turn off the alarm at all <br />times that the person listed in (l) is absent or other- <br />wise unavailable. <br />fThe alarm business or the above -listed person, as appropriate, shall be respons- <br />ible for deactivating any alarm within thirty (30) minutes of notification that <br />3 <br />such alarm has been activated or is ringing. <br />17 c. The ringing of any alarm for a period of time in excess of <br />18 !thirty (30) minutes after such notification or reasonable efforts of notification's <br />1.9has been made is hereby declared to be a public nuisance which may be made the <br />20 11subject of a prosecution. <br />23 Section 9.30.050.
