Alarm agents shall <br />17 Iregister their names and file n <br />%,VFJ of their State Identification Card with the <br />!Chief of Police of the City. No fee shall be charged; therefore, no person shall <br />fact as an alarm agent in the City without first so registering. <br />Section 9.30.110. Ordinance No. 1530 is hereby repealed. <br />Section 9.30.120. Publication. The City Clerk is hereby ordered <br />and directed to certify to the passage.of this Ordinance, and to cause same to be <br />published once in the Colton Courier, a weekly newsipaper of general circulation, <br />printed, published and circulated in the City of Colton, California. <br />Section 9.30.130. Effective Date. This Ordinance shall be in <br />force and effect thirty (30) days after passage. <br />Section 9.30.080. Alarm Systems Terminating at Po -lice Department. <br />INo alarm system shall be installed which when activated causes an alarm or signal <br />to be sent directly to the Colton Police Department or any facility thereof, un- <br />less and until written permission therefore is received from the Police Chief. <br />I;The Chief is authorized to'limit the number of such devices terminating into the <br />fiPolice Department if he determines that any such device or devices would inter- <br />fere with the normal functions of the Police Department. <br />Section 9.30.090. Automatic Calling Devices. No person other <br />than an authorized agent of the Police Department shall use, maintain, operate, <br />lor attempt to use or operate, or cause to be used or operated any alarm system <br />,or other device or combination of devices that is arranged, adjusted or programm-1 <br />ed so that it will upon activation, either mechanically, electronically or by <br />other automatic means, initiate, call and deliver a recorded message to any tele- <br />phone number assigned to the City of Colton, its Police Department or to any <br />radio frequency used thereby. <br />18 1 1-9 <br />20 <br />21 <br />-22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />261 <br />27 <br />2811 <br />
