<br />The Board of Administration, Public Employees' Retirement System, herein-
<br />after referred to as Coprd, ard the governing body of above public 39ency,
<br />herein Iter re `erred to as Public Agency, having entered into a contract under
<br />date of May 28, 1945, e-ffective July 1, 19115, and arlended effz-ctive
<br />February 1, 1948, July 1, 1954, January 1, 1960, September 1, 11-)!G2, February 2,
<br />1973, June 30, 1977, January 6, 1978, D"ecember 23, 1978, and July 7, 1979,
<br />which provides for partilelpation of Public Agency in amid 3yztten, Board and
<br />Public Agency hereby agree as foll-014s:

<br />numbered 1 through 10 inclu3ive:
<br />1. All words and terms used herein which are defined in the Public
<br />Employee3l Retiren-ent. Law shall have the meaninr- �3a def"fned +-herein
<br />unlesz otherwise soecifically plrovid,-d. "Norm, al retirement age" shall
<br />mean age 60 iter local miscellaneous ard age 50 for local safety
<br />members.
<br />2. Public Agency shAll participate in M-Ae Pi.:biic 0-aployees' Retirement
<br />Syste-m from. end ;iftnr July 1, 194515 making its em.rloyees -as

<br />of the Public Fm-ployees' Ret iremert Law except such as apply only on
<br />election of a contracting agency and are not prnvil,cd ffl-r her,?in and

<br />express provisions thereof apply only on the election of contrseting
<br />agencies.
<br />Fmployees of ?ublic Agency in the following classes shall become
<br />members of said Retirement System except such in each such class as
<br />are excluded by law or this ngreement,
