RAMOS <br />City Clerk <br />City of Colton <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1584 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON, AMENDING ORDINANCE NOS. 1080 AND 1231, AND <br />CHAPTER 3,08 OF THE COLTON MUNICIPAL CODE, PRO- <br />VIDING FOR A PURCHASING AND SALES SYSTEM. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON AS <br />SECTION 1. The first paragraph of Section 9 of Ordinance <br />1231, and Section 3.08.090 of the Colton Municipal Code, are hereby <br />amended to read as follows: <br />FORMAL CONTRACT PROCEDURE - GENERALLY. Purchasing of supplies, <br />services and equipment of estimated value greater than ten thousand <br />dollars ($10,000.00) shall be by written contract with the lowest and <br />best bidder pursuant to the procedures and requirements prescribed in <br />Sections 3.08.100 through 3,08.250. <br />r► <br />
