1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 ORDINANCE NO. 0-25-04 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CIN COUNCIL OF THE CIN OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA AMENDING CHAPTER 10.40 OF THE COLTON MUNICIPAL CODE IN ITS ENTIRETY RELATING TO ROTATIONAL TOWING SERVICES THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1: Chapter 10.40 of the Colton Municipal Code is hereby amended in its entirety to read as follows: "Chapter 10.40 ROTATIONAL TOWING SERVICES Sections: 10.40.010 Definitions. 10.40.020 Purpose. 10.40.030 Rules and specifications. 10.40.040 Towing rotation list. 10.40.050 Selection of number of towing providers. 10.40.060 Selection of towing providers. 10.40.070 Permit requirements. 10.40.080 Execution of agreements. 10.40.090 Payment of administrative fees and charges. 10.40.100 Revocation and suspension of towing carrier and driver permits. 10.40.110 Authority for city to maintain own towing operations and towing yard. 10.40.120 Penalties. 10.40.010 Definitions. A. "Business license" shall mean a license issued by the City according to Chapter 10.40 of the Municipal Code. B. "City" shall mean the City of Colton. C. "City Manager' shall mean the City Manager of the City of Colton or his or her designee. D. "Non-consensual towing service" shall mean towing services provided to the City's Police Department in situations where vehicle owners are unable to consent to having their vehicle towed, such as in cases of severe accident, where a vehicle is being towed for being illegally parked on public property or towed as a result of a police order.
