1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15i 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 ORDINANCE NO. 0-29-04 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON APPROVING A CHANGE OF ZONE FROM C-2 (GENERAL COMMERCIAL) TO R-1 (SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 501 SOUTH 7T" STREET IN THE CITY OF COLTON: DAP -000-308 WHEREAS, Rachel Romo filed an application (File No. DAP -000-308) requesting a zone change from C-2 (General Commercial) to R-1 (Single Family Residential) ("Application") for property located at 501 South 7t" Street (Assessor Parcel No. 0163-173- 08-0000) in the City of Colton, County of San Bernardino ("Subject Site"); and WHEREAS, the Application was reviewed, studied, and found comply with the California Environmental Quality Act ("CEQA") as more fully described below; WHEREAS, on September 14, 2004, the Planning Commission of the City of Colton ("Planning Commission") conducted a duly noticed public hearing on the Application at which time all persons wishing to testify in connection with the Application were heard and the Application was fully studied; WHEREAS, the Planning Commission adopted a Resolution recommending approval of this Zone Change to the City Council; WHEREAS, on October 5, 2004, the City Council of the City of Colton ("City Council") conducted a duly noticed public hearing on the Application at which time all persons wishing to testify in connection with the Application were heard and the Application was fully examined; and WHEREAS, all other legal prerequisites to the adoption of this Resolution have occurred; THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Based on the entire record before the City Council, all written and oral evidence presented to the City Council, and the findings set forth in this Ordinance, the City Council of the City of Colton hereby designates the Subject Site shown on the RVPUB\MXM\679705.1
