1 <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />8 <br />9 <br />10 <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />.26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />WHEREAS, on August 8, 2006 the Planning Commission of the City of Colton <br />("Planning Commission") conducted a duly noticed public hearing on the Application at which <br />time all persons wishing to testify in connection with the Application were heard and the <br />Application was comprehensively reviewed; and <br />WHEREAS, on September 5, 2006, the City Council of the City of Colton ("City <br />11 Council") conducted a duly noticed public hearing on the Application at which time all persons <br />wishing to testify in connection with the Application were heard, the Planning Commission's <br />recommendation was considered and the Application was comprehensively reviewed; and <br />WHEREAS, all other legal prerequisites to the adoption of this Ordinance have <br />I occurred. <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES ORDAIN AS <br />I FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. Based on the entire record before the City Council, all written and <br />oral evidence presented, and the findings made in this Ordinance, the City Council hereby <br />approves the amendment to portions of the Reche Canyon Specific Plan attached hereto as <br />Exhibit "A." <br />SECTION 2. The Land Use Plan Map for the Reche Canyon Specific Plan <br />referred to in Section 18.34.060 of the Colton Municipal Code is hereby amended as shown on <br />page 6 of the attached Exhibit "A." <br />SECTION 3. A new Table 2C, which sets forth the maximum densities for <br />Planning Area One (A), is hereby added to page 38 of the Reche Canyon Specific Plan as <br />shown on page 5 of the attached Exhibit "A." <br />SECTION 4. Based on the entire record before the City Council, including all <br />written and oral evidence presented, the City Council finds that the proposed amendments to <br />the Specific Plan are consistent with the General Plan of the City of Colton ("General Plan") and <br />the Reche Canyon Specific Plan and are not contrary to the goals and objectives of the General <br />Plan and Specific Plan for the following reasons: <br />a.
