RESOLUTION N0.12 53 <br />The City Council of the City of Colton, California, does hereby <br />resolve as follows: <br />That the application addressed to this Council by California Electric <br />Power Company,, an electrical public -utility, under date of February 18, 19469 <br />for the license and privilege to construct, maintain and operate a 66 Kv. <br />circuit and 33 Kv circuit electric transmission line supported by wood poles, <br />to be erected, owned, maintained and operated by said Power Company, upon, over, <br />and across the land and real property of the City of Colton, situate in the <br />City of San Bernardino, California! and described as the Southeast Quarter (Sk) <br />of Lot 2, Block 66 of the Rancho San Bernardino, as shown by map recorded in <br />Map Book ?s page 2: records of San Bernardino County, California, be and the <br />same is hereby allowed and granted; provided that said tranonission line shall <br />be constructed, maintained and operated upon, over and along the following <br />center line: <br />Beginning on the easterly line of the hereinbefore described <br />land and real property of the City of Colton ( said easterly <br />line being common to the westerly line of the 100 foot right of <br />way of the Atcheson-Topeka and Santa Fe Railway Company's main <br />passenger track between the Cities of San Bernardino and Colton) <br />at a point 113 feet northeasterly of the north line of Mill <br />Street, and running thence south Sl,• 551 west a distance of 452 <br />feet, more or lesel to a point on the westerly line of said <br />described land and real property (said westerly line being <br />common to the easterly line of the At cheson-Topeka and Santa Fe <br />Railway Companyte freight yard)' as shown in red on the print <br />map or plat attached to and made a part of said application. <br />And provided further that the license and privilege hereby granted <br />is upon the condition that said transmission line -and the construction, mainte- <br />nance and operation thereof shall be for the uses and purposes set forth in <br />said application: and that the City of Colton shall, during the continuance of <br />the license and privilege herein granted, be allowed and permitted for its <br />electric wires, crossarma, equipment and fixtures, use of a pole position and <br />space on the poles of said transmission line as the same is proposed to be <br />located, constructed and maintained over and across Mill Street and upon, over <br />and across the right of way land of the Atcheson-Topeka and Santa Fe Railway <br />Company, and the hereinbefore described lend and real property of the City of <br />Colton# whick pole position and space and the use thereof shall be allowed <br />and permitted to the City of Colton without rental or other use charge; and <br />further provided that said transmission line shall in all respects comply with <br />General Order No. 95 of the California Railroad Commission and the law of <br />California governing overhead electric lint: construction in this state. <br />The license and privilege hereby granted is revocable and may be <br />terminated at any time by the City of Colton, by and through its City Council, <br />on 60 days notice from said City to said Power Company* its successors and <br />assigas. <br />Passed and adopted this 13t1tay of , Feb, 1946• <br />ATTF; Mayor of the City of Colton: San Bernardino <br />County,.
