EAS0 the State of California under Chapter 47, <br />Statutes of 1944 ( 4th Extra Session) was appropriated funds for <br />allotment by the Director of Finance to provide financial <br />assistance to Local Agencies defined therein as Counties, Cities <br />or Cities and Counties for the purpose of defraying not to exceed <br />one-half the cost of preparing engineering field surveys, <br />engineering or architectural designs and working and detailed <br />drawings and specifications, (hereinafter called Plans"), <br />required for postwar Public Works projects described as "Specific <br />projects"in said Act; and <br />2. WHEREAS, the City of Colton, hereinafter designated as <br />"Local Agency's <br />desires . to apply to <br />the Director of <br />Finance <br />and for <br />Postwar Public <br />Works Review Board, <br />as the case may <br />be, for <br />an <br />allotment of the State's share of the estimated cost of preparing <br />the completed plans hereinafter mentioned and there has been <br />prepared and presented to this Legislative Body for consideration <br />an application for such purpose; and <br />3, WHEREAS, Local Agency has provided or will make <br />available upon approval of the aforementioned application, <br />sufficient funds to prepare the completed plans herein mentioned; <br />4. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that Local Agency <br />submit the aforesaid application to the Director of Finance and <br />for the Postwar Public Works Review Board as the case may be, <br />requesting allotment,of Three Hundred -Ninety, (054.00), Dollars <br />being not more than one-half the cost of preparing said completed <br />plans or for such amount as may be approved by the Director of <br />Finance or Postwar Public Works Review Board, (said allotmeAt to <br />be used for the purpose of defraying the cost of preparing said <br />completed plans required), for specific project to be undertaken <br />by local agency and described as Construction of Dressing Rooms <br />at Colton Municipal Plunge to replace old structure which is <br />unsafe and insanitary. <br />
