01 <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />10 <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />29 <br />30 <br />31 <br />32 <br />,, • <br />in consideration of the City Council approving the proposed annexation have <br />consented in writing and filed with the City Clerk of the City of Colton who <br />acts as Clerk of the City Council, their consent and agreement that all of the <br />property included in the aforesaid territory shall be taxed equally with the <br />other property within the said City to pay the bonded indebtedness and liability <br />of the City of Colton contracted prior to or existing or outstanding at the time <br />of the aforesaid proposed annexation of the aforesaid property as provided in <br />the aforesaid Act. <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has made a complete investigation and report <br />in reference thereto, <br />NOW,* THEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Colton as follows: <br />A) That the aforementioned described territory is contiguous to the <br />City of Colton and that the same is uninhabited, as defined by the aforesaid Act. <br />B) That the aforementioned petition contains a description of the <br />uninhabited territory sought to be included in the City of Colton, and that <br />said petition is signed by the owners of not less than one-half of the area of <br />land in such territory and representing not less than one-half of the assessed <br />value of such territory according to the last preceding equalized assessment roll <br />of the County of San Bernardino in which said County the City of Colton is <br />situated. <br />C) That the owners of more than one-half of the aforesaid real <br />property, in consideration of the City Council approving the proposed annexation <br />have consented in writing and filed with the City Clerk for said City Council <br />their consent and agreement that all of the property included in the aforesaid <br />territory shall be taxed equally with the other property within the said City to <br />pay the bonded indebtedness and any and all general indebtedness and liability of <br />the City of Colton contracted prior to or existing or outstanding at the time of <br />the aforesaid proposed annexation of the aforesaid property, as provided in the <br />aforesaid Act. <br />D) That notice is therefore hereby given of the proposed annexation <br />to the City of Colton of the uninhabited territory contiguous to the City of <br />
