PLANNING CM111MISSION RESOLUTION NO. 536 <br />WHEREAS, the Colton City Planning Commission did consider the <br />request of Hugo Neu-Proler Company for Conditional Use Permit <br />to allow the construction of a Salvage Scrap Iron Yard on <br />the Southwest corner of Mt. Vernon Avenue and "M" Street; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did give notice of the public <br />hearing as required by law; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did hold said public hearing <br />and consider said Conditional Use Permit on November 28, <br />1967; and <br />WHEREAS, it satisfactorily appears to the Planning Commission <br />that the public interest, necessity, convenience and general <br />welfare will be best served by the recommendation of this <br />Commission; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission <br />does hereby recommend to the City Council the approval of the <br />Conditional Use Permit subject to the following conditions: <br />1. A solid fence shall be placed around the property and <br />maintained in a neat and orderly condition. <br />2. All materials, equipment, and activities shall be kept <br />within the confines of the fence at all times. <br />3. The storage of materials of any kind kept on the subject <br />property shall be kept in a reasonable and orderly manner. <br />4. Operational area be paved where necessary to reduce dust. <br />Public Works Requirements <br />1. Install drainage pipe under tracks. <br />2. Crossing improved on both sides to 64 feet, curb to curb width. <br />3. Curb and gutter along full frontage. <br />
