RESOLUTION NO. 3569 <br />CITY OF COLTON <br />RESOLUTON OF THE CITY.COUNCIL DESIGNATING <br />PERSONS TO PERFORM VARIOUS DUTIES FOR <br />PROCEEDINGS IN A SPECIAL ASSESSMENT DISTRICT. <br />ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 1975-1 <br />WHEREAS,athis City Council is, at this time, -considering <br />the formation of a special assessment district pursuant to the <br />terms and provisions of the "Municipal Improvement Act of 1913"1 <br />being Division 12'of the Streets and Highways Code of the State' <br />Of California for the construction Of certain public works of <br />improvements within said City in a gp4Qi4l 45sesgme4t distript <br />known and designated as <br />ASSESSMENTDISTRICT NO, 1975-1 <br />(hereinafter referred to as the "'Assessment District") and, <br />WHEREAS, at this time, this City Council is desirous of <br />making the required appointments and designations necessary in <br />order to allow said Proceedings to be carried through to comp;etion, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY CQUNCIL <br />OF THE <br />CITY OF COLTON <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />correct SECTION 1. That the above recitals are all true and <br />SECTION 2 DANIEL H. BURNETT <br />is hereby appointed to perform all of the duties and functions <br />of the Superintendent of Streets as said duties are specified and <br />designated in the "Municipal Improvement Act of 1913", being Divi- <br />sion 12 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California <br />for the above --referenced Assessment District, <br />SECTION 3. That the place for recordation of the <br />assessment roll and diagram shall be in the Office of the Super <br />inten0e t of Streets and said assessment roll and diagram shall <br />be kept as a permanent record of the City. <br />SECTION 4. That F. MACKENZIE BROWN, attorney at law, <br />is hereby appointed to act as bond counsel for said proceedings <br />for the preparation of all necessary resolutions, notices, <br />issuance of bond opinion and other legal work in connection with <br />said assessment district as said duties and terms and conditions <br />are sot forth in an Agreement entitled SPECIAL COUNSEL AGREEMENT, <br />a copy f which is an file in the Office of the City Clerk and <br />said Ag eement is hereby approved and execution is authorized <br />r <br />
