RESOLUTION N0. 3599 WEED ABATEMENT, FINDING, DETERMINING AND -DECLARING �- INSUFFICIENT OBJECTIONS OR PROTESTS TO THE REMOVAL OF PUBLIC NUISANCE. 2 3 WHEREAS, a resolution was adopted by the City Council of the City 4 of Colton, California on the 2nd day of March 1976 declaring weeds growing on upon streets or sidewalks or uprivate' _ p property and rubbish, 6 refuse or -dirt upon parkways, sidewalks or private property within the City 7 of Colton to be a Public Nuisance and providing for the abatement therefore; 8 and 9 WHEREAS, the City Clerk.was directed to cause to be mailed to the 10 owners of the property on which or in front of which such nuisance exists 11 in accordance with the Weed Abatement Law (Chapter 13, Title 4, Division 3, 12 Government Code and amendments thereto) of the State of California; and 13 WHEREAS, said notices have been mailed in accordance with said act: as set forth in the affidavit of the City_Clerk on file in her office; and . 15 WHEREAS, said Resolution and notices fixed, determined and de - 16 clared that a hearing would be held on the 20thday of April 1976 --'7 in the Council Chambers in the Civic Center, Colton, California at the hour 18 of 7:30 p.m. of said day,.at which time any person having any objections or protests to make concerning theremovaland destruction of said weeds, rubbish, 20 refuse or dirt may appear and be heard; and 21 WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed in such notice a hearing was 22 duly held by this City Council and all persons desiring to be heard thereon 23 were heard and the Cit Council all City gave persons present an opportunity to be -24 heard. 25 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City. 26 of.Colton as follows: 27 The City Council does hereby find, determine and declare that 28 notices for the destruction of said weeds and the removal of rubbish, refuse 29 or dirt have been mailed in the form and manner prescribed by the aforesaid 30 act and that said notices were in theformand substance required by said act 37 and in every, respect complied with the laws pertaining thereto, 32 The City Council further finds, determines and declares that
