That Section 4 of Resolution No. 3629 is hereby amended <br />to read as follows: <br />SECTION 4. That on the ballots to be used at said special election, <br />in addition to any other matters required_by law, there shall be printed sub- <br />stantially the following: <br />Shall the ordinance amending Ordinance No. 1421, <br />effective dune 30, 1977.,- providing that the City <br />of Colton's Employees Retirement Plan, original- <br />ly adopted in 1945,,be modified effective 3ufie 30, <br />YES <br />1977, to provide improved retirement benefits to <br />Colton Police and Fire Safety�`°employees, herein <br />referred to as Local Safety Members, on the basis <br />j <br />of discretionary retirement at age 50 with the <br />1 <br />local safety member receiving a retirement of Two <br />Percent (27.) of their final compensation for each <br />year of service (not to exceed Seventy-five Per- <br />cent (M.) of final compensation) with compulsory <br />NO <br />retirement at age 60 (see California Government <br />Code Section 21252.01); and the levy of only such <br />property taxes as will be necessary.to pay the <br />City's share of said benefits, be adopted? <br />SECTION 3.
