RESOLUTION NO. 3635 <br />1 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />2 <br />OF COLTON, AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 2240, <br />PERSONNEL SYSTEM RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR <br />3 <br />THE CITY OF COLTON. <br />4 <br />BE IT RESOLVED <br />6Y THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON AS FOLLOWS: <br />5 <br />Section 1. Section 5 is hereby added to Rule VIII, <br />6 <br />Employment <br />Lists, of Resolution No. 2240, to read as follows: <br />7 <br />RULE VIII EMPLOYMENT: LISTS <br />8 <br />Section 5. Employees of Other Public Agencies or <br />9 <br />Private Industry: Employees of cities, counties, or other <br />10 <br />public agencies or private industries who are currently working <br />11 <br />in, or who have worked in the class of Police Officer, <br />12 <br />in which the city has a vacancy may be considered for <br />l3 <br />employment without examination. Such consideration is <br />14 <br />dependent upon their meeting the.minimum requirements of the <br />15 <br />class and concurrence of the appointing authority and Personnel <br />16 <br />Officer. For purposes of these rules, such applicants shall be <br />17 <br />treated as applicants for a transfer for Police Officer <br />18 <br />class only. <br />19 <br />Section _2.
