City of Colton as <br />WHEREAS, this City Council has recently completed assessment <br />proceedings for the construction of certain public improvements in what is <br />known and designated as Assessment District No. 1976-1 (Cooley Drive), here- <br />inafter referred to as the "Assessment District", pursuant to the provisions <br />of the "Improvement Bond Act of 1915%,.of the Streets and Highways Code of the <br />State of California; and <br />WHEREAS, assessments have been levied and bonds issued on <br />certain parcels of property whereby it is determined that substantial number of <br />parcels will be sold and divided and requests and applications will <br />be made for <br />the, division of the assessments on the divided lots or parcels, all as so pro- <br />vided for in the "Improvement Bond Act of 1915"Y being Division 10 of the Streel <br />and Highways Code of the State of California; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council is desirous of establishing a reason- <br />able fee for prIocessing.applications for division of land <br />and assessment in <br />o <br />order to reimburse the City for the necessary costs so incurred as set forth <br />in said "Improvement Bond Act of 1915", being Division 10 of the Streets and <br />Highways Code of the State of California; and, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City, <br />Of Colton as follows: <br />1. That the above recitals are all true and correct. <br />
