P RESOLUTION NO. 3702 RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY, DESIGNA- 2 TED "EAST COLTON ANNEXATION NO. 29" TO THE CITY OF COLTON AND WITHDRAWING SAID 3 ANNEXED AREA FROM COUNTY SERVICE AREAS NOS. 38 AND 70, AND IMPROVEMENT ZONE G 4 OF CSA #38 AND IMPROVEMENT ZONE A OF CSA #70. 5 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON: 6 WHEREAS, preliminary proceedings for annexation of certain 7 described territory to the City of Colton were initiated when the City of .Colton filed -a resolution of application, with the Local Agency Formation 9 Commission in the County of San Bernardino pursuant to the provisions of the 10 11 District Reorganization Act; and WHEREAS, thereafter appropriate proceedings were conducted by 12 13 j the Local Agency Formation Commission and on February 9, 1977, the Commission i4 adopted a resolution, being Resolution No. 1251, approving the proposed annexa - I5 tion, subject to the following conditions: 1. The conducting agency shall not make any changes in the 16 17 boundaries hereby approved nor shall it impose any new conditions or modify any is conditions hereby imposed unless and until it receives the approval of the 19 ( Local Agency Formation Commission for such changes, modifications, or conditions 20 pursuant to the procedures prescribed by Section 56275 of the Government Code. 21 2. The conducting agency shall provide the Local Agency 22 Formation Commission Executive Officer with a copy of the resolution calling the 23 hearing and a copy of the certified resolution indicating final disposition of 24 the proposal pursuant to Government Code Sections 56450 and 54797.2. 25 3. The boundaries are hereby approved and as approved are 26 set forth in Exhibit A attached hereto. 27 4. The following distinctive short form designation shall 28 be used throughout this proceeding: LAFC NO. 1652.
