RESOLUTION NO. 3706 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON CONFIRMING THE REPORT OF THE STREET SUPERINTENDENT ON COST OF ABATING NUISANCE 3 WHEREAS, the City Council ' of the City of Colton, California, did 4 on March 1, 1977, . pass a resolution declaring that certain weeds growing upon 5 the streets or sidewalks or upon private property within the City of Colton, to 6 be a public nuisance . and ordered said weeds to be abated by said City; and 7 WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 39567.1 of the Government 8 Code, State of Caiiforni" a, the City Clerk of the City of Colton caused notices 9 of the proposed abatement to be mailed to all the owners of the property shown 10 on the assessment roll of the County of San Bernardin.o; and 11 WHEREAS, the Superintendent of Streets has caused said weeds, 12 rubbish, refuse or dirt to be removed from said property and the nuisance abated 13 and has caused a report of the cost of said removal to be filed with the City 14 Council; and WHEREAS, a copy of said report has been posted in the time and 16 manner required by law and a hearing I on this report was set for the hour of 17 7:30 O'clock p.,m. on the 5th day o . f July, 1977,.at which time all property 18 owners having an objection to make to said report might be heard concerning -19 the same; and 20 WHEREAS, the City Council finds that property owners have not 21 made sufficient protests or objections to said report, or to the cost of 22 abating said nuisance, either in whole or in part; 23 1 1 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City 24 of Colton as follows: 25 1. That said report of the Street Superintendent be and the same 26 is hereby confirmed and adopted and approved by the said City Council and the 27 cost of abating the said nuisance . on each separate lot or parcel of land on 28 which sai=d c ost,was,incurred was approved.
